Welcome to The PoirshaFit Club


Poirsha educates and coaches her club members, affectionately called ‘Fitletes’ to Think, Move and Eat like the healthiest versions of themselves.


Poirsha’s Expertise

 Poirsha is a well respected, elite Fitness instructor and Mentor to those aspiring to be teachers in the fitness space, in Los Angeles. She is an advanced practitioner of Yoga, Pilates and Meditation. She is a Classically trained, Senior Studio Pilates Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor at arguably the most luxurious fitness club in Los Angeles. 

  She has been an elite athlete her entire life. She was a Gymnast, Sprinter and a Division I Soccer athlete. She went on a deep Soul journey in 2016, where she certified to become a Yoga Instructor. Since then, she's chosen to live and teach people how to live a holistic, alternative lifestyle.

    She is an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, who advises people how to maintain the health of their mind and body through food and daily lifestyle routine. Ayurveda is a 5-6,000 year Holistic Healing Science from India. It is a Medical System, like here in the US, except they use Food, Spices, Herbs and all of what Nature provides as ways to restore health of the body and emphasizes the health of the mind. The mind influences the body and vice versa, so healthy intake of Water, Nutrition, Sounds, Visuals, Thoughts and all other Sensory inputs are essential for a persons health, and longevity. Yoga and Meditation are tiny branches of Ayurveda, which is a complete system, whose practices Poirsha used during the Pandemic to remain healthy and Covid Free. 


Since becoming a teacher, she has trained, counseled and influenced thousands of people all having their own challenges of; various injuries, mental blockages, poor eating habits and fat to muscle ratio imbalances. Majority of her clients and students are in person.

This ‘PoirshaFit Club’ is created so she can coach those who are out of her reach. Her focus is to be a global leader of Fitness and Health Education, empowering each person to become the expert of their mind and bodies.

Poirsha (Our Ancestors and Doctors) believe these are all ‘preventable deaths.’ Through healthier eating habits and lifestyle changes, we can avoid becoming another statistic.



3 Health Pillars 


Mindset 

How people think and why they think a certain way is the key to understanding who we are and why we are. In order to achieve our health goals of mind and body, we must understand ourselves more deeply. We must have unwavering faith in ourselves, the willingness to be patient, have a curious, childlike open mind and positive approach to life. We must train our minds to stay sharp and positive, so implementing daily mindfulness and spiritual practices are encouraged and taught. 

Movement 

 

If the body is unwell, it is almost impossible to carry out our dreams. If  muscles are weak and tight, poorly conditioned, and lack the proper amount of muscle to fat ratio, we are more prone to life altering health conditions; There is high potential for relying on pills just to get around each day. Weak, tight bodies are more susceptible to injuries, and some can become life threatening. 

The most common cause of death in elderly are bone breaks. Osteoporosis is most common in women because of lack of strength and resistance training. Lack of Calcium, Vitamin D and protein are also contributing factors to weak bones. It is imperative that we do some form of exercise daily. Weekly workouts and monthly movement challenges will support this pillar. 


Nutrition 

To live with optimal health, we need proper nutrition. This means we need to consume food and fluids that are packed with nutrients, vitamins and minerals to support the function of our internal ecosystem. The current American diet is known as ‘SAD,’Standard American Diet.’ We are known for consuming the highest amount of PROCESSED FOODS. Much of our food allows for ingredients that are banned in other countries. Our food is fatty and extremely high in sugar and packed with artificial flavors and ingredients. 

It is time to be more selective with our food choices, and become more Conscious Eaters. Learning how to buy and cook delicious meals from natural, fresh, whole foods, opposed to packaged, processed canned and frozen foods will be our weekly work. Making simple eating changes will change your quality of life and the DNA of the generations that follow!

We cannot hit all of these goals all at once. We need baby steps. Every day is considered a ‘baby step.’ Each day we will be doing something that will keep you moving towards these goals.

Poirsha’s Transformations

Physical

Suffering from a life altering back injury in 2012 and 2014, the Doctor gave up on me and suggested injections & suggested I must have kidney problems. (Which I didn't!!! His methods were ineffective & harmful). I healed myself naturally. Suffering from major stomach acidity and gut health issues for all of my childhood and all of my 20’s, I’ve healed myself naturally. 

Mental

 I trained myself out of having low self esteem, being overly competitive and aggressive, having mean, negative self talk, praising others while putting myself down, and people pleasing. I am healed from that version of me. 

I’ve re-trained my Mind and thoughts to become my #1 supporter and cheerleader. 

The health of my mind and body is my #1 priority. I have strong boundaries, I respect my time, effort and energy, and will not allow others to misuse and waste it. Protecting my Peace is my daily practice. Having drama free interactions and relationships is of the utmost importance to me. Best of all, I’ve learned to give myself grace, and how to love myself unconditionally, in a gentle and sweet way.

I am a Winner. I lead and coach to Win; Winning in Life (You keep trying). Being a Loser & Losing in Life (You gave up) is never an option. If you join, you are also agreeing to Win. Minor losses and setbacks are a necessary part of life. Giving up is not; that is a misguided mindset. 

Our Mindset in ‘The PoirshaFit Club’ is wired for Winning. If you are not currently wired to think this way, no worries, with more time together, it will be! 

There is no One/Single/Only way to do anything, so we will find many solutions to our challenges. We will try as many as are needed. 

I will see us through the darkness, acting as a guiding light to lead us through the inevitable ups and downs of this transformational journey. With a collective, Winning mindset, there is nothing we cannot achieve. We will Win as a team, a group and as a whole. 

Darkness reminds us of our dimmed Light. We are the Light. May our Unity strengthen the reach of our Light Rays, and Shine Bright like the SunShine & Moon Lights that we are!
